BIO:
Najla is a Syrian-American writer, with a deep interest in historical romance, especially during the 1900s to 1990s (yes, 90s is also almost considered historical fiction). She loves complex main characters, who are bold and daring for their time, and who face challenges or redefine the status quo. She is represented by one of the very first BIPOC literary agents in the industry, and is expected to be published in 2024. Her second book is also final development.
She volunteers for the WFWA scholarship committee, with the best position of awarding scholarship to underrepresented writers to attend conferences.
Before she started writing romance, Najla worked 20 years in project management, build large curriculums for trades and apprenticeship programs, and taught community college. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Michigan and a Masters Degree in Adult Education. She has two amazing sons, and two wonderful dogs.
