BIO:
Myah Ariel is the author of debut contemporary romance WHEN I THINK OF YOU (Berkley '24). Her early love of movies led her from Arkansas to New York City where she studied film at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. For several years, Myah worked as a Hollywood receptionist with dreams of producing, before a career pivot landed her in academia. She earned an MA in specialized journalism for the arts from USC where she now works to develop and manage academic programs in journalism, media, communications. As a medical mom and a hopeless romantic, Myah is passionate about inclusive love stories. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and son.

I'm an open book! I look forward to sharing any and all advice and war stories from the query, sub and post book deal trenches with my eventual mentee. I'm easily reachable on Slack and Discord or DM as questions arise. Editorially, I'll likely only be available for one read through of your MS with editorial feedback. But when it comes to questions and advice, I welcome open communication and even scheduled Zoom check-ins on a monthly or bi-weekly basis.
