BIO:
Shameez Patel Papathanasiou was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. She is a civil engineer by day, fantasy and romance author by night (and a choc-chip cookie fiend somewhere in between). When she isn’t mothering her 4-year-old, she’s wondering what Loki would be like in a contemporary romcom and scribbling up ideas to combine her love for all things ‘geeky’ with her love for love.

I am a huge fan of romance in all its forms but am especially drawn to upbeat romcoms with fresh voices and fun concepts. I’m a huge fan of “geek” culture (Marvel, Star Wars, Loki, anime, etc.) and my agent jokes that I put the STEM in steam so bring on the STEM romance! I also love love fantasy romance, paranormal romance too. Sexy vampires? Yes. Yes. Yes.
I am not a good fit for on-page sexual assault and while I’m happy to read historical and science fiction, I am not well-versed and may not be a big help.
