Hi! I'm Alexandra Vasti, literature professor and romance writer. I write historical romance (with St. Martin's Press) and paranormal romance (with Berkley, forthcoming in 2026). I also have experience with the self-pub to trad pub transition. I live in New Orleans, and I'm represented by BookEnds Literary. Some of my favorite writers include Tessa Dare, Cat Sebastian, Sherry Thomas, Ali Hazelwood, and Talia Hibbert. I'm really excited to be mentoring for the third year with SmoochPit!!

I am probably MOST interested in historical or paranormal romances, but I love romance of all kinds and have mentored across subgenres. I especially love books with hooky premises that I've never heard before, humor, and open-door steam. I'm very eager to read more queer MCs. (Also, I have really dorky energy, so if you have something nerdy and/or with lots of deep dives into a topic you love, I'd love to see it!)
