Bio

I am a 2025 debut author with a passion for fun, fizzy stories and a tendency to overshare.

My debut novel 'Quarter-Love Crisis' came out this summer and is a rivals to lovers workplace romcom set around surviving your twenties whilst in the middle of the ever-relatable Quarter-Life Crisis. But I've been writing books since I was six years old. It's truly been such a big part of my life and I'm so excited to watch it become a bigger part the older I get.

As well as writing and reading, I play a lot of squash, spend far too much time with my friends and am a sucker for a re-binge of a classic TV show. Think New Girl, The OC, Bunheads, Baby Daddy, Young & Hungry, Gilmore Girls, My Wife and Kids... The list goes on. My most regular rewatch is Glee, I'm sorry. Call it what you want but it's a glorious product of its time.

I love something gripping and fast-paced that's mostly grounded in reality.

Obviously it's fiction so liberties will always be taken, and honestly the hook can be as wild and nonsensical as you like, but I like to read stories that could be happening in the world we currently live in.

Whilst I obviously love romance, my favourite type to read (and write) is the type where the protagonist has a very fulfilled life and journey outside of the love interest. The story can't be *just* about the love; I like to know there's more going on.

No fantasy or romantasy please, and no massive age-gap tropes.

Mentoring Style

I don't see myself being too harsh or strict with it. We're both writers, we both love romance, so we should be able to talk on a level. However that being said, I do want you to get as much growth and success out of this as possible, so I'll need to be able to provide constructive criticism and have open and honest discussions with you about your work.

As someone who used to struggle to share her work with *anyone*, let alone talk about it, you're already doing so much better than me just be applying for this program! So don't worry, any feedback I deliver will be done with the knowledge and forethought that this is your baby.

I'm also a big fan of a live reaction so, if permitted, I will start bombarding you with texts about your characters as if they are real people getting up to real drama. I can tone this down if that's not your cup of tea... But frankly, I think we could have a great time.
